Going Urban: An Overview of Urban Ministry for the 21st Century
The world is going urban. For the first time in history, more people live in cities than in rural areas. How can Christians recognize this global trend of urbanization and adjust missions strategies and efforts to minister both at home and abroad in cities? This workshop will include reasons for doing urban ministry, principles for forming a biblical urban ministry strategy, pitfalls in urban ministry, and a look at how ICBC is implementing this strategy in Detroit.
