A Biblical View of Womanhood for All Cultures
Recently a major change has occurred in our nation’s history in that half of all US workers are now women, and mothers are the primary breadwinners or co-breadwinners in nearly two-thirds of American homes. Are conservative Christians outdated in their opinion that a woman’s primary role is in the home, and that the husband is the leader of the family? What about other cultures that view women as less valuable than or inferior to men? Our picture of womanhood should come from God’s Word, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is still the greatest need, for it changes both men and women, so that they desire to follow His design for their lives.
