Conference Blogger - Joe Tyrpak

January 5, 2010 – 12:30 pm

I’ve posted four times since the conference opened last night. Some of you might be wondering who’s posting these conference reviews.

I’m Joe Tyrpak, a 30-year-old pastorĀ at Tri-County Bible Church in Madison, Ohio. I’ve brought four college-age singles from our church to the conference. We’re having a great time together (at least when I’m not staring at my computer screen!).

This is my fifth time at a conference hosted by Inter-City Baptist Church, and my second time at an SGI Conference. My first time was ten years ago at the original conference, Mission 2000. That original conference left deep impressions on my life. In addition, my brother Jed is involved in church planting in Brooklyn because of the powerful working of God through His Word at the Mission 2000 Conference.

In ten years, I’d guess that this conference has doubled or tripled in attendance, and the stories of its influence for the advance of the worldwide cause of the Gospel could be multiplied on top of mine a hundred times.

I hope to serve you well through these summaries of each major aspect of the conference.

  2. Joe,
Thank you for serving us so well. We are thankful you your work. This is excellent. I didn’t know your Mission 2000 story. There are so many. God is good. Looking forward to a great day tomorrow.
