Rides for ‘10 SGI Conference
December 7, 2009 – 12:37 pmToday marks the 1 month mark till the 2010 Student Global Impact National Conference!
An important aspect of the conference is the process of getting students to Detroit in January. Over the past 5 conferences many students have carpooled together, saving cash and creating loads of memories.
From California to New Hampshire, from Florida to Quebec, students and young adults are coming from every corner of the map. Many registrants have requested info regarding a ride to the conference.
If you would like to request a ride for you or a couple of your friends, join the Missions Mandate Facebook group and post your request under the “Rides to SGI” discussion topic. This is the easiest and most efficient means of finding a ride. Make sure that you include your name, how many need a ride, where you will be and how far you can drive for a ride, and when you plan on leaving for the conference.
If you are driving to SGI and have an extra seat or two, join the Missions Mandate Facebook group and post your offer under the “Rides to SGI” discussion topic. Make sure that you include your name, how many available seats you have, where you will be and how far you can drive to meet, and when you plan on leaving for the conference.
I trust that this will be helpful to many of you. As always, contact me with any questions regarding rides or any other conference details.
Here for you,
Tim Aynes
PS: Make sure that you bring an ice scraper and plenty of windshield fluid!
