Send Out Cards

November 23, 2009 – 2:34 pm

Anyone living overseas should check out Send Out Cards, a service that sends a printed greeting card with your message in less than 60 seconds. They will print it, stuff it and mail it, all for less than a greeting card at the store.

For overseas residents (e.g. missionaries) this is a huge blessing. You can send a quick birthday card to your grandchild or a note of encouragement to a supporting church.

Here’s the “Send Out Cards” reason for the service:

When was the last time you sent an unexpected card at an unexpected time to someone you care about?

Do you think it would make a difference?

Do you remember people’s birthdays and other special occasions? Do you think that matters to them?

How about a simple thank you or expression of appreciation. Do you think that would make a difference?

With this incredible tool, not only can you remember people and share appreciation, you can motivate, uplift, encourage and truly make a difference. Here is the interesting thing, the more you do this, the more you realize that you, the sender of these cards, benefit the most.

We are changing people’s lives for good one simple card at a time.

Check out their website for complete info. And send out some cards!

HT: a missionary involved in “pre-field ministry” (a. k. a. “deputation”). Maybe we should start calling them “deputies” (Wiktionary entry for “deputation; check out def. #3)

UPDATE: You can test out the Send Out Cards system with a free trial. Visit the “Free of Charge” page to give it a shot…for free!
