Heart Conference at Northland
January 28, 2009 – 11:52 pmI am currently in the tundra region of Dunbar, WI at Northland Baptist Bible College’s annual Heart Conference. I came up with a couple of guys on staff at Inter-City Baptist. I set up a table for Missions Mandate/SGI and talked to people about the ministries. It has also been a great reunion with many friends as I just graduated from NorthIand this past spring.
I will be speaking at a workshop tomorrow afternoon on the “new media” and gospel commuication. I have looked forward to the study over the past few weeks and trust that it will be a help to pastors/students. I will be using the book The New Media Frontier as a guide to cover the merits and dangers of the new media, as well as how believers can utilize the new media for effective gospel ministry. I will post the outline/notes and audio as soon as they are available.
