Dr. Doran is the senior pastor of Inter-City Baptist Church and President of Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves as the Chairman of the Practical Theology Department and teaches the core pastoral theology courses in the M.Div. program. He received his education at Bob Jones University, (B.A.), Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., Th.M.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D.Min.). He and his wife, Claudia, have four sons: David, Daniel, Dillon, and Derek.

Pearson is the Pastor of Missions and Evangelism at Inter-City Baptist Church, where he has been on staff since 1997. Pearson received his B.S. and M.Div. degrees from Bob Jones University, his Th.M. degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and his D.Min. degree in Evangelism and Church Growth from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary of Louisville, Kentucky. He and his wife, Amy, have two children, Grace and Pearson IV.

Tim Aynes (taynes)

Tim serves on staff at Inter-City as Director of Missions Mandate  and its college-aged wing, Student Global Impact. He received his B.A in Missions from Northland International University in Dunbar, WI. Tim is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He is thrilled to be married to Anna, a Lansing native and his better half.

Ben Edwards (bedwards)

Ben serves as the Director of Urban Ministry at Inter-City. He leads the evangelistic and discipleship efforts of the campus ministry team at Wayne State University and coordinates outreach into the Midtown area. Ben received his B.A. from Bob Jones University, his M.A. from Northland International University and is currently pursuing an M.Div. at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He convinced a wonderful young lady, Jo, to move down from her beloved country to the north to be his wife.

Glenn Kerr (glennkerr)

Glenn is chief translation consultant for Bibles International, the Bible Society of Baptist Mid-Missions. He has worked as a consultant for 15 years, being involved with translation projects on five continents and about 28 languages. He has a master’s degree in Hebrew and Semitic Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has done graduate studies in linguistics at Michigan State University, and is currently in doctoral studies through the University of South Africa. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Bible translation and related linguistic subjects on an adjunct basis at three Bible colleges and universities in the US as well as his consulting work overseas. Glenn and his wife, Becky, have been married 35 years and have three children and five grandchildren. They reside in the Grand Rapids, MI area.
