Student Global Impact is the young adult mobilization department of Missions Mandate, existing to honor God by mobilizing students to discover, develop, and fulfill their role in the Great Commission.
The Cause
We are convinced that we live in an important time period for the advance of the gospel. History has proven that young adults have played a crucial role in the mobilization and realization of a movement towards evangelizing the unreached peoples of the world.
Through the mobilization ministry of SGI we desire to equip and network young adults who will be the catalyst for a revival of a movement once known as the Student Volunteer Movement.
The Conference
SGI hosts the biannual National Conference in the Metro Detroit Area for the purpose of providing solid expositional Bible teaching from pastors and missionaries, scholarly and practical workshops, and ample opportunities for young adults to network.
The most recent conference, the 2010 SGI conference entitled “God’s Armor: Put it On” took place January 4-6, 2010. Additional information regarding the conference. View and download all 2010 Conference media.
The Ministry
SGI seeks to mobilize Christian young adults on Christian college campuses, on state university campuses, and in local churches.
SGI representatives attend college and church missions conferences in an effort to connect students/churches to missions resources and stir the cause for gospel ministry around the world.
